EMpower’s Annual Dinner in Support of Youth breaks Fundraising Record in London!

On Thursday 15th of November, EMpower’s 10th Annual Dinner in Support of Youth was held in London where we raised an astonishing and record-breaking £1,485,961 before Gift Aid and matching, thanks to the generosity of our supporters.  Aangan Trust, our Indian grantee partner for the past 10 years, was honored as we celebrated the strong partnership that has enabled Aangan to significantly improve the lives of tens of thousands of at-risk boys in the slums of Mumbai.

The evening began with drinks, followed by a delicious dinner and a program that opened with the inspiring original song "EMpowered," written and performed for the occasion by Get Gospel.

We continue to be incredibly grateful to our generous EMpower community in London who enthusiastically come through with their support of our work, and continue to raise the bar! A very special thank-you to the 2018 Dinner Committee, Board Directors and Underwriters for their time and unwavering commitment to EMpower’s continued growth and success.
